High Desert
Spent the last week in northern New Mexico taking in the snow and sun and oh so beautiful desert landscape. There was very little wind and the clouds would just hang there in the big sky without moving.

02.5.10 Night Animals
The zoo is closing their night exhibit at the end of the month. So I went to go visit the slow loris and the sloth one last time. The slow loris being a favorite animal of mine since the discovery of Alexis Deacon’s fantastic book Slow Loris.
Turns out it’s hard to draw in the dark. The lizards, part of the day exhibit, were much easier. Plus lizards don’t move much.
